And for the month 1 results...drum roll please...

 

I weighed 249 on 1/1 and on 1/29, I weighed 241.  That was a total loss of 8 lbs and a % loss of 3.21%.  Yeah me!  I also lost about 3.5 inches total in my measurements!

 

Peggy weighed 186 on 1/1 and on 1/29, she weighed 183.  That was a total loss of 3 lbs and a % loss of 1.61%.  Yeah Peggy!  She also lost 2.5 inches! 

 

Although we both really won, the winner of the month 1 contest was...Kari!  That means that Peggy will be buying me CSI Season 2 and I am really looking forward to watching it!

 

It will likely take me an entire year to lose the weight that I want to.  12 months seems like a long time, but I just made it through a month and there are only 11 more to go.  The first month I imagine was the hardest since I was just getting started, but now that I am exercising and eating healthier, it just seems like a normal way of life.
