    Weigh-in, week 5

    I can't believe I haven't added a new blog for almost 2 weeks.  Time to catch up today...
     
    In week 5, neither Peggy nor I lost any weight.  For me, week 5 was a disappointing week...I was disappointed in myself.  I did really good through the first month, and then for some reason, that little voice inside said "Kari, you did so well in the first month that it's OK to start adding food/beverages that you like back into your diet."  So instead of doing this in modification, I dove right back in...Taco Bell one night, ice cream another, drinking regular sodas, etc.  I'm really lucky I didn't gain any weight in week 5...good thing I am working out so much. 
     
    I was also a bit disappointed in my one-month weigh in with my trainer.  I was really hoping to have lost a significant amount of body fat, but I only lost 1%.  At least it was a loss!  I did lose 4 lbs of fat, so that was good, and I lost 1 inch in my belly, which is where I need to lose it the most, so that was good too.  Smile
